When you get a Zetec it comes FREE with a 16v head, now some people think its a great idea to remove this head, pay a machine shop to block up certain parts of the block so that you can fit a 8v CVH head which costs money because it did not come with the engine and then have it ported so that it is just as good as the 16v head which has been removed.

The justification for this in many occasions is that the person already had a decent 8v head they wanted to use, although selling it and putting the money towards porting the 16v head would make more sense to me.
