basically, when you redo an engine completely i always do :

line bore
knive edge
balancing the crank with the flywheel
if possible heat treat the crank another time after shaving weight off it
rods balancing / weight equalization
cam bores aswell get a check if straight, if not line bored aswell

that gives u the basics for a optimal engine IMHO
