Well yesterday went all as planned, £36.50 for a one way ticket from Aberdeen to York, left the house at 5:30 to get the 6am train down with my mate who's just bought the car. Arrived at 11:30 am and got a taxi to the garage which was about a 20 min drive due to the busy traffic on a sat. down there, but it was well worth it. Here are some of the pics I took before we left yesterday to head up the road.
The car is in perfect condition, just needs a few coats of polish and it'll be faultless. The underside is absolutely pristine also, it obviously had a very good previous oner in Japan as the have painted everything underneath and it looks new. Defo a good buy.
As for the spec. its an evo 5 RS so it doesn't have a rear wiper or electric windows, or mirrors, although it has had central locking fitted which isn't included from the factory. The only thing it had was air con.
And the big one was NO soundproofing, so driving from York to Aberdeen became a bit of a pain in the ass as it was totally noisy even with the stereo on
A for the spec. that is unknown as yet, it's defo not standard as it has a few tell tale bits under the bonnet and it's running well above standard boost. The standard 0-60 is between 4.2 and 4.4 secs if i am correct, so it's rather quick.
Anyway..........
