Hardeep this wasn't the recommended route by Ahmed as I know the car ur talking about. Due to time and money there was no other alternative and thats why this route was taken. The pistons had been machined to the same level as Gav's.

However, to answer Gav question the copper should work fine, but the recommended method would be to use shorter rods.
