I got my new engine almost ready to go in but while the front shafts are out i thought i would re-grease them and tidy them up........the grease in the engine side was so thin it was like oil

Anyway when i removed the inner boot the driver side came apart but the other side stayed intact. Are they supposed to be fixed in ??

Btw i have never had and issues with it popping out and the car is lowered
