wimwerf,
Stu...whats the difference between the EVO chip of yours and superchips, unichips etc etc.

more memory or something.
Depends largely what system you are asking about mate? EEC IV? Marrelli? Bosch? Siemens?
We use the fastest access chips available to ensure no timing issues rear their heads, where some suppliers use the slower and cheaper versions. Our maps of course are all developed with our own experience of live mapping on the road of many many different specification engines to bring a good compromise between performance and reliability. Some other suppliers have simply removed a boost limit

A CRIMBO SALE , Sound's like a good idea stu !
Im thinking your right.. hope you all buy lots of things if i have one

I didnt think there was technically any diff?
See above Melv. In the EEC case, we even use a better module for the ecu as well as far better maps

ive got a 195 frst superchip in at the moment - but its a t3 and currently 1800 zvh so no doubt its well out.
if i go back to 1600 but still with t3 would you expect to be able to give me significant gains in running/safety/power against the general off the shelf superchip?
It Is well out mate. And its probably also a little flat as that chip has about 5 degrees removed from teh std map

eeciv 1800 zetec
i currently have decatted, air filter and 2.0 throttle body - is the chip a general one or would you alter it to suit the decat?
i run regualr unleaded in it at the moment, and i do not wish to change from it with petrol prices as they are - is it possible to keep running this and still make gains?
I wouldnt personally touch her with std unleaded fuel in her mate. Sorry.
