Hi Bobby, clockwise stiffens the suspension, I have them in my cosworth. I have put 15 clicks on the back and half a turn on the front, working ok. Turning the nuts down will drop the ride height down. Set the suspension to the height you want it to be at one corner, then count the threads from the bottom of the shock to the bottom of the locknut and level the rest off at the same height. You would need to get your steering re-lined if you drop the car. Hope that is of help to you.
