Sorry mate you are wrong. You can't use solid lifters with a hydraulic cam profile as a hydraulic profile does not have the gentle acceleration ramps used to take up the tappet clearance due to full time tappet/lobe contact.

It's actually the other way round, you can use a solid cam profile with hydraulic lifters.
