Try running the telly in 1440x900 in your gfx card settings, the telly should then detect its a HD source and reduce the size accordingly
Works on my Philips 50" Plasma
thats the res for my 19 inch monitor but it doesnt let me use that res for the tv
if i go on anything other than 1280x1024 then it says not supported on the tv
