RS500 intercooler - modified for GT30/35 turbo
This is a GENUINE RS500 intercooler, which has been modified.
The intercooler inlet pipe has been straightened, this is useful for use with GT30 type turbo conversions.
There are two threaded holes on the top of the inlet pipe for temp probe/water injection unions (easily blocked with blanking plugs, not included).
There is one threaded hole on the top of the outlet pipe for a temp probe/water injection union (easily blocked with blanking plugs, not included).
One of the top mounting brackets has been cut off (pretty simple job to weld a new one on if that was a problem)
The other top mounting bracket is bent down (easy to bend it back)
And finally, a hole has been tapped into the bottom of the intercooler, currently fitted with a sealing union.
Please note there are 3 'pin holes' on the front of the cooling fins - as happens to all large/open front mount intercoolers. These holes are clearly shown in the pictures and can easily be sealed with Araldite or similar. I could have done this and painted it black and you'd never know...
£300 inc. post (not including highlands etc.)
