For a start your insurance company should have sent a inspector to inspect the claimed damage to the other persons car.

Then your insurance company should ask you for an accident statement.

Then your insurance company should either dispute it or pay out simple really unless you were uninsured, or have had no contact with your insurance company.

It shouldnt have got as far as a CCJ if you have been incontact with your insurance company
