What size are they? 15" 16" 17"s ????

The stud pattern will be fine if they are on your Escort now! They will go on his car - whether they rub depends on the size - 17s should be ok on a standard height mk6 though. BTW you should check the offset is right also (it should be OK if you brought them new for your escort)
