I haven't got figures, but I'd wager that by far the biggest proportion of drug crime is related to hard drugs. This is a thread relating to soft drugs, and soft drugs taken by responsible people pose no threat to society, no burden the NHS, nor clog up police cells. There is so much rubbish talked by people isolating individual extreme cases that soft drugs will never ever get a fair hearing.
People (like you've just done) link cannabis, E etc in the same sentence as smack etc and blur the lines. The reality is that that's like comparing Shandy Bass with Absinthe.
...Edited to say that the isn't a pop at you Steve, I've re-read it and it sounds like it is. It's more my frustration that hard and soft drugs are always linked. (Just like Boy Racers and Joy Riders are)
