It depends on the res the file is at. If you mean can you convert the picture to a dif format to watch on a std dvd player, then no. DVD quality is all you will get. If your DVD player is an upscaling player with divx support then you can get up to 1080p depending on hardware etc..

If you are just watching on a pc, or a pc conected to an lcd then look for MKV format files as these are also up to 1080p.
