you need to get the paint perfectly clean to start with, i presume you don't have a machine polisher?

doesn't matter because it can still be made to look nice

i'd buy;

sonus clay bar and some lubricant.
poorboys polish with sealant
either poorboys natty blue wax or blackfire wax
collinite wax.

use them in that order and you'll have a deep long lasting shine
