Firstly i am not finding it amusing either i;m actually completely gutted for my daughter as it was hers. and also maya did not RIP Hovis up she picked her up in her mouth as the hamster shot out from under the bird cage, but by the time noticed, i'd dropped the cage and ran after her, maya had dropped Hovis on the floor and sadly she had died, probably from shock. there was no blood no nothing. maya simply carried it in her mouth. believe me if i had seen the hamster maya would have been no where near it!, but i honestly didn;t think hovis was there!
