well its update time again

after a long boring winter i have finally got round to playing round the garage sorting stuff on the car again,

its been back to fms to try another resolve on the boost surge and im putting the car on the rollers this saturday to see if its made any improvements although i know im now running 2bar or boost instead of about 1.5 before, but more on that after the RR session as i dont know if problem is solved yet

Also i wanted a shift around of my battery/fuel set up to take it out of the rear wells and mount it in the middle of the car a little more out of harms way if i was to have a rear end shunt etc, so i ordered my new pro alloy tank as in the pics above, along with a think automotive twin pump and filter bracket and got ryan (car looms uk) to make me up a new pectel style double pump loom which is the nuts and soo much tidier for a bargain price too, so cheers ryan. then i mounted it all up as planned

whilst i was there i added a dry cell varley red top 30 battery for a bit of safety as well and mounted that out the way behind the passenger seat position for better weight distribution,
i p clipped all the aeroquip again and brake lines along with the power cable and its all a million times neater now and im well chuffed with it so here is the pics of the finished result

new car looms uk double fuel pump loom and pumps mounted in holder on rubber bobbins.

new varley red top 30 battery mounted in new style varley alloy bracket with heavy duty circuit breaker

new pro alloy tank and new filler neck etc mounted in new margard rear 1/4 window

all lines re routed and P clipped down nice and secure and neat and all plumbed in so much neater than before, looks the nuts imo

so car has been washed and polished tonite for the 1st time since september lol and is pretty much ready for pod on sunday to hopeflly lay down some blistering times IF the weather is in our favour (fingers crossed)
