We removed the rocker cover and the followers to assess the condition of the camshaft and followers. we discovered cam followers:
Cylinder Number 2 – Exhaust
Cylinder Number 3 – Inlet
Cylinder Number 4 – Exhaust
Are all showing signs of heavy wear – the camshaft itself again is showing signs of wear and we would advise replacement.
Once a replacement camshaft and followers are installed – we would strongly advise the boost and fuelling are checked to confirm the vehicle is safe for sustained hard use.
