cometic are SHYYYYYYYYYTE with head gaskets,
1st blow out i put down to bad head, 2nd one fooked block and differnt head.
2nd time was the above mentioned gasket
might be a bad batch( ? ) but i certainly wouldnt use another one again as it cost me a LOT of money and even more in time, especially to prep the heads....... as you know i was really really gutted.
stick with gpA, for the money it costs/power output theres no point buying a reuseable gasket (Mountune ONLY! ) unless head is off a lot of reliability is a major factor and cost isnt.
Have a think about your motor, try not to listen to all the things everyone says as advice as it oftern makes things dificult to choose.
Try to have phone conversations with reputable tuners and tell them your requirements, they will give best advice possible and 99% of the time its free!!!!
Everyone knows how to get big horsepower cossie motors nowdays, but not everyone knows how to build GOOD cossie motors with reliability!
Head gaskets are a major factor in a cossie motor, dont believe everything you hear about most expensive bits being the best.... its all dependant on the application
