I got mine out of the spare hub today!

I used a big grinder and cut the steering knuckle off to get some space. Then cut a series of slots around one side of the sensor stopping just short of the sensor.

Then used a hammer and a big chisel to snap one of the weak points then hinged it back and fore till it snapped off and voila - the sensor is out.

There was a rubber O ring around it but it had perished so badly that I don't suppose it was going to be re-usable anyway.

Obviously this is only useful if you have a spare hub but I did and it was easier for me than fitting new bearings, and swapping the hub over.

Now, is there any way to test the sensor off the car before I go and fit it?
