if everything is sorted and all you need to do is pop the ball joint thoguh to the hub then the first thing you need to do is as tab says and make sure the shaft has slotted home fully

then, assuming you were working on the drivers side, you would turn the steering wheel full lock to the right (clockwise) so you have less of a distance to go to pop the ball joint through, and then on the other side spinn it the other way

it'll all make sense once you've done it

you also need to make sure that the ball joint is poking straight upwards as they can be a bugger to get aligned properly, you may get it into the hole but then you won't be able to get it into the hub all the way as it'll get jammed up

i hope you are using a scafold bar to drop the tca down enough to pop the ball joint on as well as otherwise you'll need a ratchet strap to pull the struts iin far enough in order to push the bolt through the inner tca hole
