Hi mate Ive just spent a weekend under the back of my stripped saff. After removing suspension etc i attacked underside with drill and wire brush attachment.I then thought it would look good in white hammerite being a white car.But i have to say my brief attempt at concours ish looked shit. Painting up side down is hard it ran every where. I was so pissed off i brought some spray on hammerite underseal and went over the top of it with that , double protection looked good to. Then it reacted and crazed up.Pissed off i then refitted by shiny repainted suspension, so at least that looks good.I wonder if a brush on coach enamel over zinc primer would be the way to go. I must also add big respect to all those who go concourse not my idea of fun but fookin hard work;
