i'd have a look for a hotel on www.laterooms.com or www.booking.com , find a hotel where you want, then check out the hotels site itself for deals, worth emailing direct to see if they can better the deal sites price.

And book a flight yourself.

Take into account where the hotel is from the airport, what public transport there is, or how much a taxi is, and where the hotel is in relation to the city centre, worth paying a few quid more, to save on taxis when you want to go out etc

The euros a bit crap at the mo, which has pushed the prices up a fair bit
