Lowering the car 45mm will affect the handling and tyre wear.

On the rear, you can get shim kits (not just washers though please) which go between the rear stub and the rear knuckle. The rear camber should be about 1-1.5 degrees negative.

On the front, unless you get some adjustable lower arms, you will be stuck with about 3 degrees negative. This is too much (again about 1 degree negative is ideal).

Camber will affect tyre wear, although not to the same degree as toe. Also, too much front camber on standard road cars will cause twitchiness.

Remember though to set the rear camber and toe before going to the front. Then set the camber (if using adjustable arms) before setting the toe.

Also, set the toe to straight ahead / slightly toe-in as you will need to compensate for the lack of toe-in on turn under compression.
