TBH I managed to get mine home with the TCA's already in place. Maybe not as described above and there was a LOT of tension on the strap but it worked without damaging the threads on the ARB too.
Fair point about the tightening of the ARB nut too but I'm trying to work out how to access it when the car is on the ground. Possibly lower the car onto blocks so the underside can still be accessed?
