Yes, the Zymol stuff is good, but unless used properly, it is just overpriced.

I attended a "detailing day" with another forum, and during the day we tried two different waxes on 2 halves of the same panel that had been prepared in the same process. This enabled a fair "bench" to work from.

First was the Zymol Concours (£165) and the other side was Poorboys Original Paste Wax (£13). Both products were applied by professionals following correct instructions.

@ the end of the application, both were tested for clarity, gloss and water repelling abilities. The Poorboys won all rounds hands-down. The Zymol Concours just smelt better.

Any wax or other cleaning product can perform, it is all about the preparation.

An example:
My Sierra built in 1992, original paint (cleaned using AutoGlym Super Resin Polish, AutoGlym Extra Gloss Protection and finished with Bilt Hamber AutoBalm)

My Escort Cabriolet (clayed using Bilt Hamber Clay, coat of AutoGlym Extra Gloss Protection, then finished with Poorboys Original Paste Wax)

where do you get poor boy stuff i heard about them have you got a link
