company demonstrators would still be built but not as widely known as they are due to the internet.
i dont build my projects to impress internet nobodies but because i like fiddling and doing something different and for fun.it keeps me out of trouble. in fact i had my first cossie conversion done on a rwd celica long before id even bought my first pc.
its not about being the first or the fasest although i think i can safely say i had the first cossie powered e30 touring in the country
