It makes me cringe when people ask for free HPi checks and others do it from their work's account. Not least because it's technically stealing....
But you've obviously never had the police turn up when one of the cars you're checking has a colourful history....
Pay the money and you'll be indemnified if anything crops up that hasn't made it's way on to the register yet.
If someone else does it for you, you won't have a leg to stand on... it's bad enough if you did the check yourself!
but if you hpi 5 cars your interested in , it becomes expensive if you can get free ones.
Then pay for the one you actually going to buy.
As in got a free one on my current car, before i'd even looked at it, so no wasted time. Then when i'd struck a deal pending on hpi been all good, i paid for a hpi on it, so covered
