theres obviously rules and regulations in construction for gap sizes to prevent these sorts of things happening. used to be 100mm. dont know if it still is but someone hasnt done there job right for a child to fall through .
its impossible to get through a day without not taking your eyes of your child . anyone with children will know that and only those without children will make the claim that you shouldnt be letting them out of your sight for a second.
