To be honest how many people would know there are different limits for vans? I don't remember being told that when I took my test (ok I didn't read the whole highway code!) personally I wouldn't thought its that common knowledge – no one here knew dual carriageway was 60mph for vans until a driver got stopped for speeding and then was informed vans were different - the branch managers at a parts supplier don't even tell the drivers they employ 'are you aware of the lower speed limits of vans', a lesson learned today

I don’t think the owner of the van that was borrowed from is even aware!
