I Had Sort Of The Same Problem It Was To Do With My Ingnition Amp On Inner Wing Near Battery As I Took Mine Off To Have The Plate Cleaned Up What It Bolts To. An When Fitted It Back On Car Would Only Run For Few Mins Then Cut Out. I Remembered That Id Not Put Any Heatsink Paste On Back Of Amp An After Id Done This It Runs Like A Dream. Hope It Helps
