I had the same problem, rock hard pedal.

Mine turned out to be a pipe had come off.

Look under the brake distribution block there is pipe that is T ed in, it went off the a cylinder sensor thing.

Mine didnt seem to pressurize even though the pump was running.

Worth a look, good luck.
