If light flickered under hard cornering, it is pick up was getting out of oil, so sucking air, and dropping pressure, use a higher level, or baffled sump.
Castrol RS did not do well on a mega test in the states, but not as bad as mobil 1 did!!
I use when I can get it SUNOCO RACING 20/50, but if not any at mo as my engine needs a new bottom end.
If an engine oil(above) is seeing only 60C I would be concerned it is too cold to work properly, my xr4i used to see cruising 90/100C, up to 130C when ragging it.
