Default Sierra Sapphire Powered By Rs 2000 (mk5 Escort)

Hi, We Are In The Process Of Making A Rs2000 Powered Sierra, Bit Of A Difference Rather Than Taking The Easy Option Of Dropping A Cossie Turbo Or V6 24v. Was Wanting A N/a Rwd Sierra But Really Didn't Want A Big Daft V6, We Wanted Something That Would Scream. So Bit Of A Difference Gone For The Rs 2000! Does Anyone Know If This Has Been Done Before???? We Have Had To Use Parts From A Mk5 Escort Rs 2000, 2.3 16v Scorpio And The Sierra Twin Cam, Its A Graft To Make It Fit As We've Taken A Fwd And Turned It Into A Rwd, We Used The Rs 2000 Bottom End As It Packs More Compression Than The Scorpio 16v And Used The Scorpio 2.3 Head As The Rs 2000 Head Wont Turn On Its Side Due To The Thermostat Housing Hitting The Bulk Head And The Inlet Intake Also Hitting The Bulk Head, We Would Of Had To Cut Into The Screen It Was That Far Out, Twin Cam Sump And Pick Up Pipe Have To Be Used. Inlet Manifold Is A Vi System From The Scorpio, Scorpio Head Has Had All The Rs 2000 Internals Fitted. Scorpio Flywheel Has Been Used Its Also Been Skimmed Down To Just Under 7 Kg, A.p Clutch Plate From A Cossie, Twin Cam Gearbox, And The Rs 2000 Engine Management Is Being Used, 4-2-1 One Off Manifold, Sierra Cossie 2wd Exhaust Its Not Running Yet Thow. Engine Was Sat In Place Last Night Still Lots To Do, Main Thing Is The Patching The Rs 2000 Loom Into The Sierra, Something To Look Forward To Tomorrow!

If Anyone Knows If This Has Already Been Done Please Let Me Know. I Will Update On Progress As The Car Progresses
