I dont consider it going backwards! My daily drive is now a Golf TDI - perhaps thats going backwards a bit..! But I bought it purely for fuel consumption. I was costing me 20-30 quid a day to run the errands I have to do in the Merc.....its a quarter of that in the Golf.

Im about to buy a Range Rover (maybe Sport) to replace this CL and my Landcruiser Amazon (for towing)....and with the freed up cash I want a few modern classics....Ive already got a Lotus Carlton, Audi UR Quattro, Maestro/Monetgo Turbo....and now want a 3dr Cosworth and an E30 M3 to go with them....

I would prefer a project but anything will do.
