as sarah said, it just means that it will be past it's best - it's the use by date that is more important
problem is more on the planning side than attitude.
if your daft enough to buy stuff that then gets out of date before u get round munchin it....its ur fault... and i would personally not eat stuff being out of date a FEW days, i value my health.....
and i couldnt afford to spend a month in hospital with salmanella just cause i wanted to save a pound. i got employees and they have families....how cool would that be to say : sorry, i cant pay u guys....i wanted to save a buck, then ate something bad...and ya...cause of that we lost several jobs and ur on welfare now....
if u are self employed things do look a bit different !
