Firstly, your going to sell your car because your mates just bought a quicker 1? WTF!
Secondly, this torque win's race's thing was written as a marketing slogan by carol shelby IIRC.
Sadly it doesn't. An F1 car probably has around 250ft/lbs. So around 450ft/lb per tonne.
An Artic lorry tractor unit weighs around 8 tonnes and has around 2500 ft/lb's. That gives it 312.5 ft/lbs per tonne. Which will be more than you, and not far behind an F1 car.
Now tell me torque makes a quick car.
The CTR's torque is amazing from 1500rpm's to the redline it gives 85% of it's max torque. if you think your going to win on the torque baised bit, race him in 4th gear from 15mph to the limiter.
