Totally different players so you can't compare them. Owen will always get you goals if you give him the right service and with people like Joe Cole, Steven Gerrard etc then he's going to get the service!
Rooney is a quality player, just for different reasons. I'd always have someone who will do nothing all game then sneak up with the deciding goal in a game.
