He is still a class player and knows where the net is.
Put him in Man Utd's team and he'd still get 20+ goals a season because he'd get quality service, at Newcastle he simply doesn't get that because they're gash!
He's still managed to get 12 goals in 29 starts during his time at Newcastle, a time which has been stop start stop start. I agree about his injury problems although personally I hope he has got over the worst of it as he's still the best english striker we have and would be an automatic choice in the England starting line-up. This season has seen get regular football and so long as he keeps himself injury free I think you'll see more goals from him.
