A sports therapist is what you need. Make sure you find one that a member of FHT. Federation of H??? Therapists. Can't remember what the H is for. Anyway, don't just go to anyone who claims to be a masseuse or therapist because it's likely they'll have done a weekend course and do you more harm than good.
I injured my hip a few years back and it was diagnosed as muscular but I was in a bad way and it got better but would go if I twisted the wrong way. A decent Sports Therapist will help with massage and suggested excercises.
