Ive not read your link but, if you was to go to evening college or get an aprentiship (sp) with a plumbing and heating company and get your quailifications it would be easier to get on later on as most companys now want you fully qualified and with at least 2 years expierience.

Its not at easy as its made out and you will not be earning 80K-120K either, but you can earn a decent living, ive been in the plumbing and heating game for 16 years and im looking to change jobs in around 4 years, im really fed up with all of the qualifications you now have to have.

A.T.M., im ACS accredited, Nat Gas and LPG
Corgi regd
Part L Energy Effiecent
Part P Electrics
soon to unvented registered and have another certificate for combustion gas analysers.

I seem to spend most of my time at bloody training centres than i actually do at work not to mention how much all these courses cost unless you work for somebody.
