205 sit nicely on a 7 inch rim
225 or 235 sit nicely on a 8 inch rim.

Personally don't see the point of having wider 8 inch wheels and sticking to a 205 tyre !!!!

I assume what Tabetha ment was that the wheels he is looking are are 7j, but obviously 8j are available in many makes as loads of us have them.
