You don't "need" the front anti-roll bar setup. I tried it and changed back to the Escort 24mm unit from my XR3i. The colour is R5 "Rosso Red". It the original paintwork, never been resprayed. It's running a CVH hybrid engine, half from a mk5 Escort and half from a S1. Management is Megasquirt'n'EDIS. Here's two old bad pictures of the engine:
