A group, a fitted correctly, ie with waiting time, will handle 400bhp all day long, so, long as not using spike chips.
I know of one that runs 540 on a group a and does track days as well as used nearly every day.
Most people do not let the gasket rest when fitting, which can and does result in early failure as it is then loose.
