Got a couple more to add! Went out today on my private test track and hit the limiter in top gear in two different vehicles! Pics below:

Bike pic was not as crazy as it looks - cam was on a special mount on my headstock. Hit the self timer at 100mph, then gunned it till I hit the limiter in 5th - flash from camera on the inside of the screen was a bit hairy, but it took it EXACTLY as I hit the limiter, hence the flashing shift lights at the bottom.

Petrol gauge and water temp worked on and off, good job really as the HG died, the head cracked, fuel ran out a bit and the car generally packed up on a few occasions, we had fun guessing when that would happen!

That was about 15 miles into a (private) motorway run on a cold ish winter's evening... couldn't get the thing to rev anymore as the cat was blocked / buggered (another thing on the fail sheet on the the MOT the next day!)
