My broadband speed seems to vary according to the time of day and day of the week - right now it's not worth having because pages were faster on dial-up!

Before I bin my ISP - maybe only to discover it isn't there fault - is it possible to have two ISPs set up on the same machine so I can compare the speeds they produce?
