Sounds like a sticky or semi burnt out valve to me
The sticky valve sounded easy enough to check so I have just taken off the rocker cover put the car in gear and rocked in back and forwards. Exhaust valve on number 4 isnt moving at all. Took out the lifter and tought that the rough bottom edge wasnt right. Well it isnt. Its ground away the cam lobe. I mean its completely flat. I hope you can make it out in the pictures.
Does anyone know what may of caused this? Looks I need like I need a new cam and a set of anti pump lifters.... and an oil change!!
