IMO there is no way to tell by simply looking to see if a Valve is seated right..
a guy on here had a misfire from just above idle on his RST and it was a bent valve.. not that you could tell from looking with the head built up..
Fill the port up with water, and see if any leaks thru around the valve head,
thats a rough indication of if the valve is seated right...
but it would have to be unseated quite bad to run 0 compression

Number 3 on RSTs run hotter than the others, if/when used hard (genearally)
because of the design of the standard exhaust manifold IIRC.
as number 3 is 'siameese' with another one.
