Did you have the head surface checked before putting it onto your car James?
May be worth checking the compression on all the pots including cam Timing and if MFI I guess your still using MFI Dissy so check the Timimg here too.
I aint no expert as Im in a similar postion with mine. But I know this is where I found fault with mine.
