i have a mondeo 4x4 that i'm going to be putting a zetec turbo in during the next few months, and just wonder what i can do about the transfer box and its complete inability to transmit any real power. what sort of rough prices would i be looking at to get the transfer box stregthened, if at all possible?

other option is, i remember seeing an article about a ka with a transverse engine (think it was a yb) mated up to running gear from an evo. other than a custom bell housing and gear linkages, what else would be involved in such swap.

planning on running about 300ish bhp
